Dr. Smita Nirkhi is a prominent educationist and Teacher.Currently she is working as a Head of Department of Artificial Intelligence. She is a renowned software professional, researcher and academician. She has received numerous accolades for her valuable contributions and achievements in education and research. A stickler for quality, team builder to the core and a natural motivator with perseverance and integrity. Commands excellent communication skills that have been honed through interacting with people at various levels. She has more than 17 years of experience in academics and has published more than 51 research papers in refereed journals and conferences. She has organized a number of workshops, summer internships and expert lectures for students. She has worked as a session chair, conference steering committee member, editorial board member and reviewer in international/national IEEE Journal and conferences.
